The CMAP Committees

The CMAP Committees

They are composed of a chairman and of two members who are chosen among the CMAP’s institutional partner representatives (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Paris Île-de-France region, Commercial Court of Paris, the Paris Bar and the French National Association of Chartered Accountants)

They are responsible for

• – examining the applications of third parties wishing to provide their assistance to the centre;
• – appointing third parties in proceedings pending before the CMAP;
• – managing problems that might occur during proceedings and that are pending before the Centre (i.e., challenge by a third party).
  

  The mediation committee

  It is currently chaired by Ms Anne OUTIN-ADAM, former Director of the Legislative and Legal Policy Division at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  The arbitration committee

  It is currently chaired by Mr. Daniel MAINGUY, Professor at the Faculty of Law of Montpellier, Arbitrator.

  The Scientific college

  The Scientific College is made up of a chairman (Professor Denis Mouralis), the centre’s advisers and qualified individuals.

  Its mission is to:

  • – Propose to the Board of Directors modifications or adaptations of the mediation and/or arbitration rules in light of practice and developments in case law or legislation.
  • – Contribute to the publication of scientific articles in the fields of mediation and arbitration.
  • – Participate in the choice of themes for scientific events and symposiums organised by the CMAP.
